Running Accomplishments:

I've just run for fun/to get exercise in the past, but recently (I think thanks to Amber Green) I have wanted to become more of a "runner" - with the healthy/active/goal oriented lifestlye.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I would like to run a 10 mile and a half marathon within the next two years.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I am training to run a 10 mile race this October (2015).

Personal:

I'm married to a wonderful man who will also be  my personal coach. We have 4 great kids ages 0-7years.  I love to dance and cook yummy, healhty meals/snacks/treats for my family.

Ran in the afternoon because Ry was throwing up all night. Went super fast because the garage was open.

Started at 7:53 and ended at 7:24. I thought I was at :30 but running the last mile at :24 felt no different.

Started at 7:53 ended at 7:24. Felt easy and strong! Ready for my race in 2 days! Hoping to get lower than a 7:30 average.

I had never been to the Texas Motor Speedway before so it was so neat to run this race.  The first part we ran inside on the race track which was awesome.  It was already pretty warm at 8:30am when we started.  I stayed within the top 6 or so the whole time and finished 3rd overall!  Something I wasn't planning on so that was a great feeling.

I struggled the most at mile 3 and 4.  It was a pretty flat course which was nice.  My goal was to average 7:30.  I came out with a 7:29 average so I'm happy!  Top female finisher.  I'm excited to keep up the running and look forward to choosing my next race.
