I've just run for fun/to get exercise in the past, but recently (I think thanks to Amber Green) I have wanted to become more of a "runner" - with the healthy/active/goal oriented lifestlye.

Short-Term Running Goals:

I would like to run a 10 mile and a half marathon within the next two years.

Long-Term Running Goals:

I am training to run a 10 mile race this October (2015).

Personal:

I'm married to a wonderful man who will also be  my personal coach. We have 4 great kids ages 0-7years.  I love to dance and cook yummy, healhty meals/snacks/treats for my family.

Good run on the treadmill.  My calves are sore, but not enough to stop me from running.  No HR monitor because it rubbed me raw again on Saturday.

Ran down to an 8:00 mile pace for the 1st mile.  For the next 4.5 miles I ran between a 7:53 and 7:47 pace.  Felt good and a little tired at the end.

Only 4 1/2 hours of sleep last night because of Landon.  Poor guy.  :(  This run still felt pretty good even with a tired body.  On the treadmill again this morning.  Took the first mile to get down to a 7:53 pace and kept this pace the next 5.5 miles.

Avg HR: 165

Max HR: 176

Ran outside this morning on the River Trail.  It was good until I hit some hills which slowed me down quite a bit.  You'll see it in my paces.  I felt good though at the end.  Tired yes from running 7.5 miles, but I wasn't hurting or in any pain.

Avg HR: 144                   Max HR: 181  (I did stop my monitor for a bit because I had to pause for about a minute after the hills and I forgot to turn it back on for about 15 minutes so I don't know how accurate these numbers are.)

1mi - 8:10     2mi - 7:29     3mi - 8:00     4mi - 8:01     5mi - 8:40

6mi - 8:22     7mi - 8:08     .5mi - 7:57
